Donald Axleroad will host a special event Friday, Nov. 19, with Dr. Stephen Jones, gerontologist and head of Greenwich Hospital’s Center for Healthy Aging. Jones will give a slide show presentation and participate in a panel discussion with the Rev. Dr. Heather P. Wright of the Greenwich Chaplaincy Service.
The program: “Art, Alzheimer’s and Spirituality: Finding the Connection,” will focus on ways to communicate with those suffering from memory loss.
Co-sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, the event is free to the public and begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. in the Sackler Gallery at the Palace Theatre, followed by a presentation from 7 to 7:45 p.m. More information: Stamford Center For The Arts.
