I am so happy that we are together to celebrate your 83rd birthday. You were and still are a woman of great beauty inside and out. Ask anyone who has known Charla and they will always say: “She was one the nicest people I have ever known.” That’s how I remember Mom–a woman a great empathy and compassion for everyone around her. I feel so privileged to have you as my mother for as long as I have. You will always be a blessing to me.
